It's OK, sound slike the others. Drums sounds good. He is trying to do the drums/percussion thing all at once. Typical Weckl disc, has the standard Latin tune, 6/8 tune and smooth jazz tune. His daughter sings on a Africanesq tune.

ok,but we can't never forget that dave is dave!he's a very mature player,with a unique style!he's one of the greatest players in all history of drumming and that is the path he want to go through!we can only like or deslike!!!!even if u aren't into dave thing, u have to give him a big thanks for all he contributs for the developing of corrent drumming!!!

I think its a great disc! He's got a nice mix of tunes and has ventured out into incorporating vocals and some real cool horn lines (with real live horn players!!).

There's great playing and singing all around.

Highly recommended listening...

yep - I have to check this one out too. dave's a drummer's drummer, so one can't expect too musical stuff from him, right? (just kidding, of course)
